Last year, CORE and Delta Brick & Climate Company conducted comprehensive research of the methane being released from the abandoned mines at Coal Basin. We’re now ready to present these findings to the community, as well as our recommended options for mitigation. Join us at our Basalt community event to learn more. The data collected from the methane release research and community events will help frame a proposal to the US Forest Service to request approval to move forward with mitigation efforts.
